Please note that this version of the launcher should be considered experimental/a proof of concept, and should only be used if you understand that it can lead to a broken install.

For one, there is no WINE integration, so you can't launch your game or gamepad config from it. There is nothing I can do about this (as far as I know - if you have know-how in this, please get in touch! :) - as upstream is closed source.

Secondly, I've found that this has led to my install missing crucial files (such as config/boot folder), and caused issues such as an ashita-cli login loop multiple times.

It is still highly recommended to install with the traditional methods such as Vaughan's method. Only use this version of the launcher if you are interested in tinkering and are willing to take the risks.

You have been warned!
