I have tried a lot. For example I have checked requested libraries with:

ldd /usr/bin/hqplayer5desktop

but no way. Only in this computer I am using now is starting... in the others not

@blackhole : I have nvidia proprietary drivers installed (albeit old ones that I manage via KMS).

I can confirm this. No solution at the moment.

It is working in a PC with nvidia proprietary drivers but not in other installations.

I will update soon the problem with manual link. It has been fixed with new version 5.0.1

Yes, you should remove the link for libsgllnx64 of previous version and reinstall it.

This problem should occur only upgrading from hqplayer4

I had to manually change the link for libsgllnx64, too.

Also, the KDE menu item created for the manual doesn't work as it contains capital letters while the actual file name is lowercase only.

Hello backhole,

I have a problem to launch hqplayer5desktop: error while loading shared libraries: libsgllnx64-2.29.02.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Is it possible to fix it? Thank you.

Edit: problem solved. The libsgllnx64-2.29.02.so link in /usr/lib/ pointed to the old folder (/opt/hqplayer4desktop/lib/).
