This is a package based on httpfs2 and this patch by Nitsuga. No other changes were made, aside of some minor PKGBUILD cleanup.

If you manually add 'aarch64' to arch in PKGBUILD it will build and run flawlessly. Please add 'aarch64' to arch in PKGBUILD.

Please add 'patch' to the package's dependencies

I needed to do a manual make httpfs2.1 to build the manpage and to fix the problem "install: cannot stat 'httpfs2.1': No such file or directory" reported by @akurei on 2021-09-16 which I also encountered.

Can you consider adding that?

Thanks for maintaining!

@gardar and @akurei:

I tested the build of this package on a fresh Arch Linux installation using makepkg. It finished without any problems.

Zepman, the build fails like gardar said.

==> Entering fakeroot environment... ==> Starting package()... install: cannot stat 'httpfs2.1': No such file or directory ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package(). Aborting... error making: httpfs2-2gbplus

gardar, could you explain to me how it fails? When I build and install it the 'official' way (manually using makepkg), the man page is correctly installed as:

/usr/share/man/man1/httpfs2.1.gz

With proper (644) permissions and ownership (root:root).

package fails on the man file, can be fixed by appending .txt like this:

 install -D -m0644 httpfs2.1.txt "${pkgdir}"/usr/share/man/man1/httpfs2.1
