@xfs Thanks for your suggestion! The package is now a split package providing two variants:

  • hunspell-be-tarask — main variant with be_BY aliases, conflicts with hunspell-be.
  • hunspell-be-tarask-alt — alternative variant with only be_BY@tarask files, can coexist with hunspell-be.

Dziakuj for maintaining this package!

Upstream provides two variants: hunspell-be-tarask (with be_BY.* aliases, conflicting with hunspell-be) and hunspell-be-tarask-alt (without those aliases, allowing both dictionaries to coexist).

Would you consider packaging both variants as a split package, or creating a separate AUR package for the alternative variant?

This could provide:

  • hunspell-be-tarask — current behaviour, including be_BY.aff/be_BY.dic aliases;
  • hunspell-be-tarask-alt — only be_BY@tarask.aff and be_BY@tarask.dic, without conflict with hunspell-be.

Since both packages are built from the same upstream source, a split PKGBUILD could avoid duplication while giving users the choice.
