@MarsSeed

Thanks, updated.

Please kindly modernize the build with current requirements:

  • remove python-astor,
  • remove python-colorama,
  • add makedepends python-wheel
  • recommended to add makedepends python-build and python-installer, + use them like extra/hy PKGBUILD.

@lyiriyah

Thanks. I also experience git protocol timeouts sometimes, so now PKGBUILD uses https URL.

Removing old repo source directory may be required for successful building though.

The git protocol source is timing out for me -- but https works. Recommend changing the source field in the PKGBUILD.

For now I've run git config --global url."https://github.com/".insteadOf git://github.com/ which fixes it, in case anyone else has this issue.

@dluciv

Oh, I've missed it because I've had python-astor-git installed, sorry.

Updated dependency now, although I see python-astor 0.7.1 in testing, so git version wouldn't be needed soon.

dluciv commented on 2018-08-05 12:42 (UTC)

Right now:

The 'astor>=0.7.1' distribution was not found and is required by hy

switching to python-astor-git helps.

@berquist

Thanks. I've updated PKGBUILD.

The latest version now depends on https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/python-funcparserlib/.

@jpcima

Added, thanks.

Sadly current git version doesn't work for me, throwing an error like: ImportError: cannot import name 'HyExpression'. And same git version installed to simple virtualenv works ok. I couldn't easily find solution for this, will check it later.
