If you're like me and had an old source version of hyprland laying around in /usr/local/include, please remove it. It will fail your build.

@Keloran no, it doesn't install anything on its own, it only ever packages it. Installing using an AUR helper like

This is missing
gitas amakedependency;gitis not part ofbase-devel, so you cannot assume that it is installed. (As such, building this in clean chroots fail without manual workarounds.)Keloran commented on 2023-09-06 13:09 (UTC)
this has an issue that it will always try and install the borders-plus-plus, I think the base PKGBUILD needs to be split into 3 rather than grouped
