the optional dependcy dzen2-svn does not exist. it is called dzen2-git now.

install: cannot stat 'debian/copyright': No such file or directory ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package(). The debian packaging has been removed from i3status: http://code.stapelberg.de/git/i3status/commit/?id=266734418caa8c9e0d7bc9c1fe67c45151f8a433

Thank you, the PREFIX was fixed in 19bcc6456f40, I did not notice that.

I get the following error-message by installing i3status-git: Failed to set capabilities on file `/usr/bin/i3status' (No such file or directory) usage: setcap [-q] [-v] (-r|-|<caps>) <filename> [ ... (-r|-|<capsN>) <filenameN> ] Note <filename> must be a regular (non-symlink) file. Fehler: Befehl konnte nicht korrekt ausgeführt werden Optionale Abhängigkeiten für i3status-git dzen2-svn: As statusbar, dzen2 stable doesn't support -dock yet. I could fix it with the following line in the PKGBUILD: make DESTDIR="${pkgdir}" PREFIX="usr" install changed to: make DESTDIR="${pkgdir}" install
