i think maybe a simple version change to gdb 16.3 might work with the current setup. Otherwise, for an older gdb, gcc12 and python 311 might be needed.

It doesn't compile currently. You need python311 and gcc12.
If you yay -Syu, these will be too new.
But, luckily p311 and gcc12 are also on the aur.
I don't know how to make aur changes, but... I have needed to install it myself. It worked for me. I used LLMs but It's not so bad as to be vibe coded. And I tested it myself.
