I've been keeping an eye on this package for a couple weeks as well, as the build fails for me for the same reasons below, regardless of using a helper or makepkg.

I'm also having the same issues as Zorbatron and wilsontulus, same error 7000 and error F002.

I'm getting the same error on build as wilsontulus was. Version 1.0.2-1

Fixed compilation, forked the dependencies, so that there are no more surprises from upstream. Thank you, everyone.
