@benalexau It is creating an invalid shortcut on the desktop. A shortcut running "/home/user/Jts/969/tws" which does not exist Can it be avoided? Sorry if it was already answered I didnt find any reference to this in the previous comments

@danmilon, thanks for the notification. IB must have made a release without bumping the version number. I made a manual change so now it's all good. @empire, I would welcome modifications to the PKGBUILD and/or shell script to achieve your desired setup. Please feel free to email me directly with any changes (address is in my AUR profile).

Is it possible to put the java vm options into a config file? I find I usually have to allocate more memory (ie pass -Xmx2g to the java call) and it would be nice not to have to edit the /usr/bin/ib-tws file on each update. It would be great if you could install a default one under /etc and then check if the user has one in ~/.ib-tws.vmoptions or something similar and use that or fallback to the parameters in the /etc file. Thanks!

Currently, the md5sum is 4eeaaca3677abd84b75009b35e2963ea.

@emphire, I'm unsure why you're seeing that. The PKGBUILD md5sum shows as 6f0bb9556a29b74b2820182ace06d6ec and if you wget https://download2.interactivebrokers.com/installers/tws/latest-standalone/tws-latest-standalone-linux-x64.sh then md5sum the resulting file it is the same code. Try clearing your work directory completely and trying again.

The md5sum for tws-latest-standalone-linux-x64.sh is failing.
