@benalexau same error showed up from before tws-latest-standalone-linux-x64.sh ... FAILED and ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!

md5 for the shell script needs to be updated 1c5478afd9c709e240f0f7b3899f0555

@Kewl, I'm trying to install the package again in a different system (Manjaro as well). I get the same error.

@Axolotles, please email me a screen shot of what you're seeing from the Debian package and what you're seeing from the AUR package and I'll see if I can explain the difference. My email address is in my profile.

@benelexau thanks it works now but it doesn't seem to be the same application that you would get for Debian. I installed it on MX Linux directly from the IB website and this looks like a different app.

@benalexau Would it be possible to also delete $HOME/.local/share/applications/install4j_*.desktop that are not linking to any valid path and polluting the application menu?
