Seems like the linker flags missing the -lm option, which is needed to resolve references to math functions like ceil

@intelfx Builds now without errors. I'll comment if i encounter another pkgbuild issue

intelfx commented on 2024-05-24 23:20 (UTC)

@Twilight_Sparks Done, thanks for the notice. I do not have a device on hand at the moment, so please test the package for me? :-)

Twilight_Sparks commented on 2024-05-24 01:56 (UTC)

The developers of libimobiledevice separated libtatsu from idevicerestore. The package fails to build with the message "Package requires libtatsu-1.0" when configuring.

intelfx commented on 2024-05-19 03:25 (UTC)

Damn, Niklas works fast.

Dropped the last patch, also rebased the configure.ac patch (it always applied successfully for me, so I did not notice the report, sorry).

jkhsjdhjs commented on 2024-05-19 00:57 (UTC)

The new patch 0002-Fix-type-mismatch-calling-libplist.patch doesn't apply cleanly anymore, as it was implemented upstream: https://github.com/libimobiledevice/idevicerestore/commit/56d2c01505479b85e9aeddf58cd4237bf4242c2c

==> Starting prepare()...
Applied patch to 'configure.ac' cleanly.
Applied patch to 'src/normal.c' with conflicts.
U src/normal.c
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in prepare().

I'm completely new to Arch Linux, so am I to patching package source codes. The solution from SmashedSqwurl below, however, seems incomplete to me (mismatched curly brace in the last few lines). Can someone knowledgeable tell me, if the patch file is really complete and how to apply it correctly?

These changes fix it for me:

This needs to provide and conflict with idevicerestore.
