In that case, you'll want to follow the instructions on Android-X86's webpage: http://www.android-x86.org/documents/installhowto#Bootable This tool was created by openSUSE developers to create live USB's from iso files of openSUSE or any distro created at http://susestudio.com. I'm not sure if this package works for any other iso files :(

Yes i downloaded more iso images from android and all of them were not supported by imagewriter. By the way i accept the 'hal error mesage' again.

Do you happen to be using the Android X86 iso? http://android-x86.org

I tried to create a live usb of android-live.iso (drag the iso image to the imagewriter) with imagewriter. But it doesn't support and gave me this message: 'Sorry, I can't write this ISO. You need to use another program to write it to a DVD. '
