Please remove the 'check' function. The tests don't work and run forever even though the package itself works just fine.

frederik commented on 2018-01-06 18:07

Why should the check() function be useless?

dvzrv commented on 2018-01-06 16:16

@timhs: comment the check() function. It's useless anyways.

@frederik: please remove the check() function. It's useless!

timhs commented on 2017-12-20 21:45

I get this

cat: ../../var/pass/secret.tata: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden

cat: ../../var/pass/secret.titi: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden

(means file or folder not found)

At this point it hangs. :/

dvzrv commented on 2017-12-04 08:51

@frederik: Hate to say this, but the tests run forever and sometimes get stuck looking for nonexistent files oO

jcerdan commented on 2017-11-06 11:00

I think you should also add 2 packages to dependencies:

rdoursenaud commented on 2017-11-01 11:30

As mentioned previously 'perl-sys-meminfo' is missing from the dependencies as well as 'perl-par-packer' which doesn't build ATM because of a missing dependency.
Please update the PKGBUILD.

mrohnstock commented on 2017-11-01 07:35

as you may already have noticed from my last comment 'perl-sys-meminfo' is a missing dependency ;)

and also these packages needs to get installed:

* perl-crypt-openssl-rsa
* perl-html-parser
* perl-libwww
* perl-module-scandeps
* perl-par-packer

Vijabei commented on 2017-10-31 12:33

The 'perl-ntlm' package need to be updated

jcerdan commented on 2017-09-29 10:45

I get this error trying to install imapsync

What you have to do before using imapsync:
Install Perl module Authen::NTLM
Here is a cpanm command to install missing Perl modules:
cpanm "Authen::NTLM"
make: *** [Makefile:78: testp] Error 1

but perl-ntlm is installed ¿?¿?¿?

$ yaourt perl-ntlm
1 aur/perl-ntlm 1.09-2 [installed] (6) (0,48)
Perl/CPAN module NTLM

What can be wrong?

frederik commented on 2016-11-21 15:48

@nticompass That's my fault. I just have made perl-json-webtoken depend on perl-json. Should be fixed now. Sorry

nticompass commented on 2016-11-21 14:59

@dhaines: Make sure both perl-json-webtoken and perl-json are installed. For some reason, on my system perl-json was removed, but perl-json-webtoken was still installed.

frederik commented on 2016-11-21 00:47

@dhaines: This package depends on perl-json-webtoken which provides that module.

dhaines commented on 2016-11-21 00:45

Still needs the JSON:WebToken module:

What you have to do before using imapsync:
Install Perl module JSON::WebToken
Here is a cpanm command to install missing Perl modules:
cpanm "JSON::WebToken"
make: *** [Makefile:78: testp] Error 1
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package().
==> Removing installed dependencies...

frederik commented on 2016-11-20 21:22

@jonathon thx, added the dependencies to the PKGBUILD and/or AUR

jonathon commented on 2016-11-20 19:17

perl-test-pod is not necessarily needed, I've added it as an opt-dep

aaronfischer commented on 2015-08-24 07:47

Missing dependency "perl-test-pod"

Achterin commented on 2015-08-11 09:27

version 1.644 is out and perl-mail-imapclient is missing

frederik commented on 2015-07-26 12:34

Moved perl-ntlm to optdepends. thx @ventieldopje

Anonymous comment on 2015-07-26 11:33

For some reason Yaourt can't find perl-ntlm even though it's set to use AUR 4. Anyway it's not required unless you connect to IMAP servers with NTLM security without a fallback to plain or LOGIN.

perl-unicode-string is a required dependency:

Please update the PKGBUILD according to this one:

It uses the latest version of imapsync and adds a new dependency required by imapsync.

i found the missing files here:

It also has imapsync-1.411!

Anonymous comment on 2011-06-30 10:11

Its still possible to use imapsync. I've downloaded the .deb from the ubuntu repository. You just have to place the containing files in your directory tree (/usr/bin and /usr/share/imapsync).

donvla commented on 2011-03-14 17:24

Read the website. Imapsync costs now 30$.

Anonymous comment on 2011-03-14 10:13

This package it's not updatable anymore. It should downgrade or someone should upload 1.366 to somewhere.

donvla commented on 2010-11-13 14:00

Here's the license:

donvla commented on 2010-11-13 14:00

Ok, the guy who writes this nice piece of software wants now some (more - ~35$) money for it.
The license didn't changed. It's still under the "DO WHAT THE FUCK YOU WANT TO PUBLIC LICENSE". But he does not distribute it over his site. He only sells it:
The problem is that this package is now disfunctional. I have here a rev1.366 source package and I think to upload it on a sharing site.
Hehe, now it's a moral question: Do we want this?
The license allows this anyway.
