Does this currently work? All my movies thumb-nailed as the default icon which seems wrong.
ArchFwin commented on 2014-08-21 07:03
That has now been fixed.

md5 is wrong. According to http://launchpad.net/imdb-thumbnailer/trunk/0.8.2/+download/imdb-thumbnailer.0.8.2.tar/+md5 it should be 74775d962aa6386adea5c00ad16fabff.

This is no longer working, the thumbnails revert to the normal video-thumbnail from totem. It does download and save the correct covers from imdb.com in ~/.imdb-thumbnailer/covers/. When updating, however, the movie icon (for example of myfilm.mkv) blink for a moment with the progressing clock icon and then revert back to the default thumbnail. Just curious i had it working for a long time on older arch installations and now im out of ideas.
