You could try to run
paru -Syu --refresh
. Or do a more in-depth cleanup of paru cached folder withparu -Scc

Apologies, my AUR helper paru appears to struggle to understand that the previously downloaded ZIP file should be replaced. I think the pkgname and pkgver in source URL may confuse it. makepkg works fine.

I know that the upstream source changes from time to time, but I have a custom checkout script and it passes right now.

Hasn't built since -3 due to checksum error.

Should be fixed now. Regarding the
-bin
suggestion, yes I have thought about this. If it is that important I can try to merge it to a -bin package. For now this should suffice.Andrei_Korshikov commented on 2024-05-18 14:14 (UTC) (edited on 2024-05-18 14:14 (UTC) by Andrei_Korshikov)
Now the things are even worse:
jdk-openjdk
forces to remove just runtime and install the full development kit for, frankly, no reason. Why are you againstjava-runtime
? Look at others Java apps (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/yed for example).Andrei_Korshikov commented on 2024-05-18 13:10 (UTC)
jre-openjdk
andjdk-openjdk
are in conflict now, see https://archlinux.org/news/incoming-changes-in-jdk-jre-21-packages-may-require-manual-intervention/ Basically, usingjre-openjdk
prohibits installing any Java development stuff. If I understand all these ideas correctly,
java-runtime
should be the dependency now. Also, similarly to https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/freemind#comment-959878 the package should be renamed to
imibrowser-bin
for the same reason and with all related stuff, as mentioned in the linked comment.frittentheke commented on 2024-01-11 12:27 (UTC) (edited on 2024-01-11 12:27 (UTC) by frittentheke)
Thanks a bunch for packaging this! There appears to be a checksum error with the upstream package through:
