Sadly that's not working anymore:

But I noticed on Github is the Doc for installing via tarball available: https://github.com/yktoo/indicator-sound-switcher/blob/dev/doc/install.md

--> https://github.com/yktoo/indicator-sound-switcher/archive/v2.3.4.tar.gz

I hope that is helpful.

@ValHue I was referring to the source files, with the Ubuntu own patches, but it seems to have changed quite a bit, depend on plenty of new packages (missing from AUR) Unity and Mir libs. Let's see if someone would like to maintain this new versions.

ValHue commented on 2016-08-26 07:20 (UTC)

@goetzc: That is not the same source package, is a development of ubuntu and in the case of download the deb, would be the bin version of this. I'll leave this package free, long ago I do not use it and am somewhat disconnected from their evolution. Feel free to continue their maintenance.

libgee06 is no longer available in [extra], only in AUR. FYI, I'm disowning this indicator and removing it from my repo. May someone who actually cares about broken and outdated canonical indicators pick it up ;)

hello, this packet no exist: http://pkgbuild.com/~bgyorgy/sources/indicator-sound-translations-20130310.tar.gz. impossible install

I'll be renaming libindicator3 to libindicator-gtk3. Even if Ubuntu uses that name, it is just confusing, and a number at the end usually indicates a different package version on arch.

Trying to compile but getting this error 'g_type_init' is deprecated (declared at /usr/include/glib-2.0/gobject/gtype.h:669) [-Wdeprecated-declarations] What should I do, please?
