Even the glfw3 branch doesn't compile without having glfw2 installed:

font.c:8:21: fatal error: GL/glfw.h: No such file or directory
#include <GL/glfw.h>

Your package name suggests git HEAD, but it's an out-of-date version.
A glfw3 branch+patch has been committed by the author [1]
