oh hello. sorry for the late reply,
you can use the
--nocheck
option withmakepkg
or comment out thecheck()
in the PKGBUILD (what i do for testing).BrokenRouter commented on 2023-05-17 21:47 (UTC)
Is there any way to skip the tests? I know it's not great practice but they take a REALLY long time even on a decent (11th gen i7 4c/8t) laptop with 64GB of RAM.

This is an extremely old package with extremely outdated dependencies. I'd move over to the flatpak version, it's essentially the only one that works on a modern distro without lots of hacky patching.

After I install this,
inform
doesn't come up as a system application in my launcher or is it in $PATH. Should it?net147 commented on 2019-06-26 13:12 (UTC)
@rthrd Updated.

inform7.com is being refactored. The current source url ought to be "http://inform7.com/apps/${pkgver}/I7_${pkgver}_Linux_all.tar.gz" checksum still works.
net147 commented on 2018-08-13 03:52 (UTC)
@blackholebomb Yes, it seems it was repackaged on 2018-05-29. I have updated the checksum.

The MD5SUM seems to have changed for the I7_6m62_Linux_all.tar.gz file, I got cf8a251a3531eadf29d9490c2bb53802 when I downloaded it.
