It would have been nice to know beforehand that this installs 'dnox' and doesn't pick up the regular inox profile.

For others with the same issue: --user-data-dir=/path/to/foo or copy .config/inox to .config/dnox

Error when trying to build 69.0.3469.3 https://s8.postimg.cc/adnv4wjs5/error_build_inox-69.3469.3.jpg

I tried to build with different versions of Chromium. 69.0.3472.3 fails, but I haven't captured the error message. 69.0.3474.0 also fails, here is the screenshot of the error message: https://s8.postimg.cc/hdkamx811/error_build_inox.jpg

version 69.0.3472.3-1 still doesn't build because patches fail.

Terminal output of makepkg with default PKGBUILD: https://hastebin.com/fonojalafa.hs

This happens if I comment out patch -Np1 -i ../023.patch: https://hastebin.com/laqalobadu.vbs

If I additionally comment patch -Np1 -i ../035.patch: https://hastebin.com/cuvocokiwo.pas

After additionally commenting out patch -Np1 -i ../l.patch: https://hastebin.com/ogekovokev.pas

After additionally commenting out 9k.patch it starts to build now.

Hello! Version 69.0.3464.0-1 doesn't build, the patches cause errors and I stopped trying after the fifth patch which was causing errors.

Still the same issue with 68.0.3409.2-1 that package() fails, because dnox.desktop is in PKGBUILD, but enox.desktop in sources. I edited the PKGBUILD and wrote enox.desktop there, and ran makepkg -Re.

eugen-b commented on 2018-04-23 17:34

Three issue with 68.0.3402.0-1: 1. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bn0785ac/in-dev/master/enox.desktop is empty, I copied from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bn0785ac/in-night/master/enox.desktop 2. Missing dependency pkg-config 3. PKGBUILD in package() wants dnox.desktop, but enox.desktop is present. I had to correct PKGBUILD and run mankepkg -Re

Otherwise the built package works, thank you!

67.0.3386.1-1 worked indeed for me, thanks for your work! I do remove all .patch files since some time. It didn't help with the previous version 67.0.3381.1.

bm456 commented on 2018-04-09 16:44

it works now.

PD, as always, if you found this issues you should run this

rm *.patch && makepkg -g

LINK gn fails which results in a build error. Cleaned working folder, tried 67.0.3381.1 and 67.0.3381.2 chromium source code.
