KDE does not support inputcapture at this time. It is road-mapped for the 6.1 release.

hello

  • Can qt5-base qt5-tools be modified to qt6-base qt6-tools by -D QT_DEFAULT_MAJOR_VERSION=6?

  • if -D QT_DEFAULT_MAJOR_VERSION=6, is libportal-inputcapture-qt5necessary?

  • in gnome46, is libportal-inputcapture-gtk3 libportal-inputcapture-qt5 necessary? maybe optdepends

I'm using kde and I get an error when I switch from x11 to wayland

The rm build error should be addressed now.

That'd be it, KDE. Sorry for the noise.

Are you running on GNOME? No other desktop environment or window manager supports the interface yet.

I'm having an issue where the permission prompt keeps coming up over and over -

Within syslogs I see this a lot

xdg-desktop-por[893]: Failed to ConnectToEIS:

GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod: No such method 'ConnectToEIS' in interface 'org.freedesktop.impl.portal.RemoteDesktop' at object path '/org/freedesktop/portal/desktop' (signature 'osa{sv}')

Fresh clean install from AUR. Any thoughts? There's not much about ConnectToEIS out there.

I'm skipping commit 650ce407d974baf856b9a1a1298c3c6252b33e93 from git due to a bug that makes input-leap unusable. It will unfortunately most likely need a user input on building to revert the commit, but it is worth it since you're could completely lose input otherwise. I will revert once it is fixed. I did a version bump because of the number of fixes that have been pushed in the last week. Scroll wheel is working, alt+ super+ keys are working, among others.
