The download link here is broken. IRAF Community has migrated this repo to GitHub and released new version at 2018.11.01. Link: https://github.com/iraf-community/iraf

Thanks for noticing this problem. I'm trying to fix this package. In the meantime you could install the IRAF pre-built package for x86_64 architecture available here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/iraf-bin

IRAF 2.16 is out and this PKGbuild misses the mandatory pagkage() function

I got an error on verifying this source file: http://iraf.noao.edu/iraf/ftp/iraf/v215/PCIX/as.pcix.gen.gz I've changed the md5sum to this get it work: 83361cb665ec126d1195340a0592294f I got some messages on: strip:./iraf/iraf/unix/bin.cygwin/libboot.a(*.o) File format not recognized Looks like some files for cygwin only (?)

I get a long line of errors, consisting like these: /usr/bin/strip:./iraf/iraf/unix/bin.macosx/libf2c.a(xwsne.o): Unable to recognise the format of file: File format not recognized /usr/bin/strip:./iraf/iraf/unix/bin.macosx/libf2c.a(dtime_.o): Unable to recognise the format of file: File format not recognized /usr/bin/strip:./iraf/iraf/unix/bin.macosx/libf2c.a(etime_.o): Unable to recognise the format of file: File format not recognized /usr/bin/strip:./iraf/iraf/unix/bin.macosx/libboot.a: File format not recognized last thing compiler is doing: -> Stripping unneeded symbols from binaries and libraries... Perhaps there is any workaround? Thank you in advance.
