@crs, @vorbote: Just uploaded a version that should hopefully fix both issues now, by correcting the sub-archive used in the new bundle download file. I have tested on my setup and I can access my Epson network scanner successfully.

@crs: Thanks for the information. I'm seeing a similar issue on my setup. It looks like the download package changed more than I had initially thought - I will have a look at fixing this (and resolving the conflict with iscan-data) later today.

after upgrading this package, running iscan produces a pop-up error: "Could not send command to scanner. Check the scanner's status." Any suggestions would be welcome! I have "epkowa" in /etc/sane.d/dll.conf and "net 192.168.10.7" in /etc/sane.d/epkowa.conf

On quick glance at the file list of iscan-data, it looks almost (but not quite) identical to the files provided by iscan-plugin-network. For now I've added iscan-data to conflicts for this package.

@vorbote: Thanks for the information. When I get some time this week I'll have a look at iscan-data to see where it overlaps with iscan-plugin-network. I didn't create the initial package, and until this last update have only really been updating the source file links as they have become outdated. It's possible iscan-data provides most of what's in iscan-plugin-network already.

Hi, your updated package conflicts with iscan-data in community. Please fix this filing bugs in flyspray (you should depend on community/iscan-data and reporting an outdated package in community TBH).

OK, I've updated the package to use the new format. It should hopefully work the same as before now.

I just had a look at the new archive: https://download2.ebz.epson.net/iscan/general/deb/x64/iscan-bundle-1.0.0.x64.deb.tar.gz It seems to be updated with an "install.sh" but also has the old style "iscan-network-nt.deb" as a file ("iscan-data_1.36.0-1_all.deb") in the archive in the "data" directory. For now I'll look to update the PKGBUILD to use this so it works in the same way as previously, though maybe going forward it might be worth looking at the new archive more closely.

@ededison: Thanks for reporting - it looks like they've updated the package (as of 02 November 2015) and possibly even the format: http://download.ebz.epson.net/dsc/du/02/DriverDownloadInfo.do?LG2=EN&CN2=&DSCMI=42015&DSCCHK=61345dbd880d79df5d573b531160e9d5cfd02866 For now I've marked it as out of date, but I'll take a closer look over the weekend.

I am getting a 404 on the iscan-plugin-network and guess the source has been reloacted? % Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time Current Dload Upload Total Spent Left Speed 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 --:--:-- 0:00:01 --:--:-- 0curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found Thanks :)
