You need to update the sha256sum for the iscan-perfection-v370-bundle-2.30.4.x64.deb.tar.gz archive, as apparently Epson have changed it somehow. If you update the sha256sum in the PKGBUILD the package builds, installs & works fine though.
The sha256 hash in the PKGBUILD is no longer valid.
The libstdc++5 dependency for iscan fails to build.
1) Build libstdc++5-bin
2) Build iscan with libstdc++5-bin
3) Build iscan-data
4) Clone iscan-plugin-perfection-v370 and run updpkgsums before building
In my initial testing iscan worked for me.
I had to make the same fix as lenhuppe posted.
I got this today -- Failed to build iscan-plugin-perfection-v370
Building iscan-plugin-perfection-v370... ==> Making package: iscan-plugin-perfection-v370 2.30.4-1 (Wed 02 Sep 2020 15:38:22) ==> Checking runtime dependencies... ==> Checking buildtime dependencies... ==> Retrieving sources... -> Found iscan-perfection-v370-bundle-2.30.4.x64.deb.tar.gz ==> Validating source files with sha256sums... iscan-perfection-v370-bundle-2.30.4.x64.deb.tar.gz ... FAILED ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! Failed to build iscan-plugin-perfection-v370
@Cherubel - Thanks for your workaround

Package updated.
Since now this package will follow the iscan package version used to distribute the plugin, instead of the internal numbering into the package, as EPSON people won't respect version number history
