@shashurup Oh, I forget that. It's now working. Thank you so much!

@OctopusET I'm not quite sure about resync. Don't forget "UseUTF8Mailboxes yes" in .mbsyncrc

@shashurup I'm using this package but folder names are still broken, should I remove all and resync?

shashurup commented on 2021-08-22 11:12 (UTC)

@OctopusET unfortunately my patch is still not merged, so you have to use this package.

OctopusET commented on 2021-08-21 13:14 (UTC)

@shashurup Seems like it's not included in 1.4.3. And I even used isync-git, it's not working.

it looks like the problem is fixed in

commit a846ab054d1ff6a48c7424aed701ee14431f00bc (HEAD -> 1.4, isync/1.4)
Author: Oswald Buddenhagen <ossi@users.sf.net>

enable embedding arbitrarily long strings into IMAP commands

the AUTHENTICATE command may get insanely long for GSSAPI when SASL-IR
is available. instead of growing the buffers each time someone hits the
limit (as done in f7cec306), remove the limitation altogether.

imap_vprintf() still contains a fixed-size buffer which could overflow
when really long strings (e.g., mailbox names) need to be quoted. this
seems very unlikely, so we'll deal with it if someone actually hits it.

And the latest release (1.4.2) doesn't include it. Lets wait for 1.4.3

FYI, isync < 1.4 has a limitation where the "PassCmd" command can only retrieve 80 chars, which is not large enough for OAuth2 tokens.

See here: https://github.com/harishkrupo/oauth2ms/issues/2#issuecomment-846464452

And here: https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/632794/10360

The solution is to use isync >= 1.4

Aha, got what this file is for, regenerated.

DONE

Even if you did, there is no provides directive, which is in PKGBUILD (you can see the differences of the branch in my previous message, and it is visible with the naked eye).

Maybe you forgot to redirect the output to a file. It doesn't do it on its own. I also updated the pkgrel. I think it's important too.

shashurup commented on 2020-12-20 07:59 (UTC)

Hm... I've updated it. pkgver = 1.3.3 (was 1.3.0) pkgrel = 1
