If your Jackett looks totally unconfigured, you probably need to fix this:

/usr/share/Jackett/.config/Jackett/* -> /var/lib/jackett/

If your Jackett only shows public trackers, you probably need to fix this:

/usr/share/Jackett/.config/.mono -> /var/lib/jackett/

If your jackett user's home directory isn't /var/lib/jackett:

sudo systemctl stop jackett and usermod -d /var/lib/jackett jackett

Version 0.8.749-2 moved binaries to /usr/lib/jackett and configuration to /var/lib/jackett. A cp of the files and usermod for jackett user is done as part of the upgrade.

Skytorrents is broken, but fixed in prereleases.. I manually applied this patch after installing 1644, and it is fixed:

Can you add "--NoRestart" to the ExecStart line. This is required for in-app updates to complete successfully with systemd.

Jackett is started with the --NoRestart option (supported since v0.7.898) to prevent Jackett from restarting itself during updates. During Updates Jackett will kill the old process and systemd will restart Jackett (Restart=always).

Thanks for the suggestion.

I think that there is an extra "*" at line 19, the line sould be:

cp -dpr --no-preserve=ownership "${srcdir}/Jackett" "${pkgdir}/opt/"

Right now in /opt folder there is an useless symbolic link to *.tar.gz package.

So the issue here is that each new tarball has the exact same filename, so aur helpers think you already have the file, and then get an MD5 error when it doesn't match.

You can specify a filename for the download luckily, something like
source=("jacket.binaries.mono-$pkgver.tar.gz::https://.....") should work I believe.

Like a charm, not sure if due to something you did or because I deleted my cache but hey, thanks! (What is up with that expression anyway - charms don't actually work..)

Try again now that I've updated it?

Anyone getting this?:

==> Validating source files with md5sums...
Jackett.Binaries.Mono.tar.gz ... FAILED

Looks good to me

Took ownership of this since I saw it was orphaned, never contributed to AUR before, but I think I did everything right. :)
