See also jackett-mono for platforms w/o net5 and jackett-bin for pre-compiled binaries.

Ah.. maybe https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/prowlarr :)

@fryfrog What did you replace using jackett with? ;)

qark commented on 2022-12-10 11:53 (UTC)

@fryfrog Ok, I'm tired of that local is newer than AUR notice from yay. Since patched package works for me for almost a month with almost daily updates I'd be happy to share PKGBUILD. How do I adopt this package?

fryfrog commented on 2022-11-19 20:41 (UTC)

Fair enough, no worries. I don't use this anymore either and it updates constantly. I'm tired of maintaining it too. I'm just going to orphan them and what ever happens to them happens to them. Maybe someone else will apply your patch. :)

@fryfrog Thank you but I have to decline. Again, I'm not familiar with .NET and won't be able to fix possible packaging issues. Also I'm not interested in maintaining bin packages.

fryfrog commented on 2022-11-19 20:30 (UTC)

@qark: Is that something you'd be interested in doing? I'd be happy to pass on ownership of the 3 jackett packages to you.

Thank you!

I'm not familiar with .NET bit it looks like jackett package contains whole dotnet and aspnet runtimes. That's probably because of --self-contained flag. Would be great if jackett use system runtimes. They in turn depend on openssl.

Upd. This patch works for me https://pastebin.com/ALVMr2YJ

fryfrog commented on 2022-11-19 18:59 (UTC)

@qark: I switched it to just openssl, give it a try. It still built for me, but I don't use jackett anymore. Maybe since it is .NET, it doesn't need openssl at all?

qark commented on 2022-11-19 17:25 (UTC)

Any plans on moving to openssl-1.1/3.0?

Yeah, I migrated to Prowlarr. Thanks.
