@yochananmarqos I was not aware that it could be set system wide like that. Thanks for the tip!

@Exioncore: That's up to you to configure in your own makepkg.conf. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Makepkg#Parallel_compilation

Could the PKGBUILD please be altered in the build section to use make -j instead of make? It takes a rather long time to build the package with just 1 core, -j would make it use all available cores

@koshikas: You need to rebuild it on Qt 6.3.

i cant run jamesdsp on both X11 and wayland since plasma 6 upgrade.

the app simply quits after message; jamesdsp: symbol lookup error: jamesdsp: undefined symbol: _Zls6QDebugRK11QDockWidget, version Qt_6

pkgrel needs to be bumped. Changing license string changes package.

@10ne1: It works for me in a GNOME Wayland session. Either way, that has nothing to do with packaging. Please create an upstream issue for troubleshooting.

Hi, does this work with wayland? I try to run it using the sway wayland compositor (no xorg) and I get the following error:

qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "wayland" in ""
qt.qpa.xcb: could not connect to display
qt.qpa.plugin: From 6.5.0, xcb-cursor0 or libxcb-cursor0 is needed to load the Qt xcb platform plugin.
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: minimal, vkkhrdisplay, vnc, offscreen, xcb, minimalegl, eglfs, linuxfb.

Does it use a vendored / source-bundled Qt without wayland support instead of the normal Arch qt system libraries?

Is the breeze theme missing?

Please remove replaces directive. Thank you.
