Working perfectly fine today.

@keiki Thanks for letting me know. That's weird as the sha256 sum hasn't changed. I've run the update on 4 different machines and all of them worked without any problem.

I also had the issue with sha256 mismatch like schatzs had in 2019. It seems that the downloaded jdk file didn't match the sha256 sum. As it was already downloaded it was not downloaded again without force (I deleted it from /var/tmp/pamac-build-jens/java-openjdk-ea-bin/openjdk-15_linux-x64_bin.tar.gz ).

A guess. Maybe a timing issue of download and updated package?

Is there a way to make this build more robust? My ideas are: * using different file name in package manager after download. * using downloaded sha256 e.g. https://download.java.net/java/GA/jdk15/779bf45e88a44cbd9ea6621d33e33db1/36/GPL/openjdk-15_linux-x64_bin.tar.gz.sha256 to verify

I'm only a user and no expert in packages. :)

@morealaz : will do that with _buildver=12 on thursday/friday. Thanks for the pointer!

@stefan-zobel: please add java-runtime-common as dependency to this package.

Yes, something was out of sync in my cache and did not build. Thanks for checking.

It appears to be valid

This matches the PKGBUILD.

openjdk-12_linux-x64_bin.tar.gz is not passing the validity check.

This package is going to merge into openjdk-devel package. you should install that one instead.
