Gradle does not build a complete executable jar at the moment, thus I cannot update. There are several dependencies missing, like:

com/gluonhq/charm/glisten/control/AppBar

I suggest switching to gluon binary distribution.

As Oracle discontinued binary distribution of JavaFX Scene Builder and Gluon picked up the development and service, this package should be used as a replacement for the former.

Please refer to the following URL for Gluon's statement: http://gluonhq.com/gluon-supports-scene-builder/

PS: This package is built from source. But fear not as it does not take long ;)
PPS: New releases are pre-scheduled. Feel free to remind me if I forget updating: http://gluonhq.com/products/release-schedule/

If are reviving this package, you might want to use the following command to correct the build version before the build process:

# Correct build version
sed -e "s|^\(version = tryGetProperty('VERSION',\).*|\1'${pkgver}')|g" -i "${srcdir}/${_basename}/build.gradle"

Thanks for the comment, qw3ry.

I am currently quite busy and will see through it when I can spare some time.

I was under the impression that AUR is not meant for binary distribution and thus created this package.

It seems that https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gluon-scenebuilder/ provides the same package. Maybe you should consider merging.

If I understand correctly, the gluon-scenebuilder package provides binaries, but I'm not sure if we really need two packages as it is a java application (see also the guidelines: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Java_package_guidelines#Java_packaging_on_Arch_Linux)
