Then @freswa please remove the out-of-date flag, thanks.

Dear Maintainer! It appears there is a new version upstream. I have received following notice:

:: Searching AUR for updates...
 -> Flagged Out Of Date AUR Packages: jetbrains-toolbox
 there is nothing to do

I'm having trouble uninstalling this package. After removing it using yay -R jetbrains-toolbox the app is still present on my machine. Any advice on how I can completely get rid of this?

Any particular reason for using b2sum when jetbrains only provide sha256sums for verification?

Gnome is not showing the icon for the application launcher. I solved this by creating a link to the svg in /usr/share/pixmaps and then changing the line in the desktop file to "Icon=jetbrains-toolbox". Maybe this could be changed? The discord package also does it like this.

@LiterallyJohnny

In short, jetbrains-toolbox-fix existed for people who use AppImageLauncher to manage AppImages. If you read the pinned comment at: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/jetbrains-toolbox-fix/, it explains everything.

However, since version 1.20.xxxx, the original toolbox application from jetbrains, now includes the "fix", which now makes the package unnecessary.
