I did update the software (which seems abandoned by its genitor) :
- update auto-tools.
- apply your archlinux's patch.
- fix a bug (loop may occurs when searching root dir in parents).
- create a workaround for jonny's bug (which I did reproduce multiple time):
as some given inodes create segfault (probably because of infinite recursion), I wrote a script to just delete such inodes in logdir. And then restarting jfsrec with same parameters (and same logdir) will just ignore such inodes. (I also change output display to show inode address as used inside logdir files)

And so i did recover almost all data on a 500 Go raid0 partition.

All is available here : https://github.com/jbar/jfsrec

PS: I gave a bad email address when registering with my usual nickname, so i couldn't complete registration, and now can't use my usual nickname, (jbar). May someone help, please ?

Unfortunately I do not have the resources to help you with this issue. Please see the "Getting Help" section of the upstream project Web page.
