Ah, I see. The docs work fine in Firefox so I assume it some kind of javascript/error/compliance thing in the jqAPI pages. Please log a bug with upstream for them to check functionality on Chromium.
Thx for taking the time to give feedback. The package build is working as expected so I will leave it unchanged until they update.

I have. I go to file:///usr/share/doc/jqapi/index.html in Chromium, the page loads up, but then it just keeps saying "loading..." When I check the error log, it gives an "XMLHttpRequest" error, which happens when a web site tries to use AJAX without being loaded onto Apache.

Have you tried them? They work fine for me.
From the "What's this about?" section :
"Furthermore you can download this documentation and browse it offline. In the future you don't even need to download it to have it available offline."

The web pages use ajax. They won't work unless you have them running on some kind of server.
