If any past maintainer would like this package back, let me know.

Removing/blanking the build() section and adding my own package() section worked for me. Obviously I also had to run fc-cache to, which presumably should go in a post_install.

package() {
install -d ${pkgdir}/usr/share/fonts/TTF
install -Dm644 ${srcdir}/*/*.ttf ${pkgdir}/usr/share/fonts/TTF/
}

If you try to build this package now, the resulting package doesn't actually have any files in it. I think the PKGBUILD needs to be updated/fixed.

In the PKGBUILD the md5sum is listed as ec311947b2609a392b15a7a3b1e2acf3.

[bob@barth jsmath-fonts]$ md5sum TeX-fonts-linux.tgz
04e34d499d000508ec3af13850508884 TeX-fonts-linux.tgz

Might my md5sum be returning bogus numbers?

At my computer all went well if I download the PKGBUILD and run makepkg. I've tested the md5sum from the actual TeX-fonts-linux.tgz with a TeX-fonts-linux.tgz from 2009 and they are identic. So it seems for me that all is correct with the actual PKGBUILD.

TeX-fonts-linux.tgz did not pass the validity check. I guess the file has changed.

Would it be possible to update the package?
