dserban, thank you for your fast reply. I already had ffmpeg installed (and also mencoder, if it makes any difference). After googling around, it seems that jubler itself should provide this library: http://www.jubler.org/smf/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=203

@hokstein:
Please install ffmpeg and see if that fixes the error.
If it does, please give some feedback here and I will add ffmpeg to the depends array.

When I try to use the preview feature, I get a message saying "FFDecode library not active. Using demo image" and no preview. I couldn't find out which package provides this ffdecode library. I do have mplayer installed. Running x86_64. Any ideas?

@akurei:
you could add the line
source /etc/profile.d/apache-ant.sh
before ant jar line
@dserban:
that line will fix the error when apache-ant is just installed

The dev of jubler find it smart to use an auto-update mechanism:
"Update to 4.1.1 will be handled through the auto update mechanism of the application."
It's broken and I can't do anyhting about it. I can't even make a 4.1.1 package because there is none available.
I would have to make a jubler-hg package.
a 4.5 beta is coming but not for linux yet. (if ever ?)
