@mirandir: Thanks! I filled the webpage so it’s not just empty anymore :-)

@MCMic: done.

upstream is now https://gitlab.com/LibreGames/jumpnbump

[EDIT] Oh that is already in the sources. Just the url= would need to be updated then, either to https://gitlab.com/LibreGames/jumpnbump or https://libregames.gitlab.io/jumpnbump/

I don't think it's a good idea, because the package will conflict with jumpnbump-menu, which already provides an icon, a .desktop file and a level selector.

Could you apply this patch: http://mcmic.haxx.es/0001-Added-desktop-file-generation-and-icon-packaging.patch
It adds an icon and a desktop file in the package so that the game appears in the applications menu.

Maybe it worked fine because you launched it in the folder you build in or something?

Works fine now, thanks :-)

It's very strange, because the game works fine here without the prefix option (??).

Anyway, I'm updating the package.

MCMic commented on 2016-01-06 19:35

No, in the build method there is no PREFIX option: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=jumpnbump

I had to add it for the game to work, otherwise it search for data in the wrong folder and crash.
It needs «make PREFIX=/usr» instead of «make»

mirandir commented on 2016-01-06 19:19

@MCMic: why have you flagged this package like out of date ? The PKGBUILD works well, and the PREFIX option is here since 2015-12-14.

MCMic commented on 2015-12-30 12:29

Please add this missing PREFIX=/usr option, or the game won’t find its data after installation.
