I compiled the K-3D sources against the current boost version inside my Arch and Manjaro build VMs and did not encounter any build errors. What is the specific error you are experiencing?

Package fails to compile against the current boost 1.66 from "Extra" repo.

You need to have the package "boost-63-compat" installed from AUR in order to successfully compile the package. So please add it to dependencies or build deps.

Or K3D needs an update in order to compile against the current boost version.

I can confirm it's compiling & running fine now. Thanks for updating the package. Have a great day! :)

I have updated the package. The build break, which probably was introduced by gtkmm header changes, is fixed now.
