I had to delete ~/.config/kdeconnect after updating from 0.9g to make it work.

Ok, kralyk, i will see if i will give a try to dolphin5... thanks for now. :)

vojtechkral commented on 2015-12-06 19:18 (UTC)

@mikronimo Yes, dolphin4 is probably the problem. I can see my device in dolphin5 but not dolphin4. I'm glad that at least some parts work for you...

mikronimo commented on 2015-12-06 18:03 (UTC)

I tried out and i found that i can send files from smartphone to pc but not vice versa; although the devices are paired, in dolphin i don't see the smartphone listed as always together all the other partitions; actually i'm still using dolphin 4.14, 'cause the plasma version is still incomplete and does not allow theme customizing; so, maybe, is this the problem?

mikronimo commented on 2015-12-05 22:44 (UTC)

@Kralik Thank you very much... this has solved the problem; i created a launcher, so i have a simplier way to activate the link (through the control panel), instead to open every single time the terminal (and remember the command). :)

BTW you can also diagnose what's going on using kdeconnect-cli. For example, use kdeconnect-cli -l to list devices in reach.

@mikronimo Pairing works for me with my phone (as well as file transfer etc.). There was a missing dependency on kde-cli-tools, which I fixed just now. The control panel isn't yet fully integrated because KDE in Arch still uses settings manager from KDE4. But you can launch the kdeconnect control panel using the following command: kcmshell5 kcm_kdeconnect Also note that the Android application needs to be up to date. Mine is 0.9e.

It is not working anymore (neither this git version, nor the community one); it is actually installed, but the smartphone do not see anything to link to; all of that from 22 november update.
