Ah, of course. Thanks for the notice. I have not used this package myself for a while, and so it languished for an entire major version. KF5 is not supported anymore, and a lot of the dependencies have changed. I rebased this off of kdenlive-git, but tracking the latest released code. It's been updated, so uninstall kdenlive-release-git with pacman -Rnsc kdenlive-release-git, and then re-install it.

You need to remove kdenlive-release-git, update, and build kdenlive-release-git again, this is typical AUR maintenance. Personally I build all my pkgbuilds with devtools and have a local repo

Please quote using backticks instead of pre code, pre code remain in email notifications and make things less pleasant to read

Version numbers are now attached to kde packages, and this blocks upgrades.

mediainfo and perl-image-exiftool are supposed to give the same functionality. Package has been updated for the newer KF5 naming scheme in Arch as well. ;)

Repo's kdenlive doesn't have this as a dependency.

By doing a rudimentary search through upstream repo's commit messages only, the last commit relevant to exiftool I've found was made in 2015, in a .cpp source file that has since been deleted altogether.
