Updated to v1.6.3.

Not sure if this is why it worked for me but I realized a directory being created /usr/share/keepass/Plugins

The RPC plugin was in /usr/share/keepass/plugins

So I copy the plugin to Plugins and it worked. I also installed keefox via the source link above.

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/file/420502/keefox-1.6.0-tb+fx-linux.xpi?src=api

Edit: Oh~ nvm. It was because the upstream link was on the older version of keefox. I had to set auto updates off for keefox. Then this plugin worked. I guess the out of date flag is correct. Current keefox doesn't work with this plugin.

Thanks for the notes, Marcel -- package updated.

And after installing the Firefox plugin, I had to set the location of KeePass to /usr/share/keepass instead of /usr/share/keepass/plugins.

BTW, unzip is not needed to extract that zip file. You can use bsdtar as well:

mkdir -p keefox
bsdtar -xC keefox -f keefox.zip

There's no ELF binary in this package, so arch should be set to 'any'.

Well, I don't know why this package was flagged as out-of-date -- there is no newer KeeFox version available at the moment.

Thanks, updated.

The checksum for keefox.zip does not match anymore.

Weird, it works for me when I set the KeePassRPC **plugin** location to "/usr/share/keepass/plugins/rpc". The KeePass location needs to stay "/usr/share/keepass".

Anyway, moving the plugin to another location will break existing installations, but then again, it will at least work out-of-the-box. Update coming in a few minutes.
