Your package keepassxc-git [1] has been flagged out-of-date by (redacted) [2]:

KeePassXC 2.6.6 released

It is indeed confusing that the computed pkgver starts with an older version. That is because the nearest tag reachable from the latest commit is an older tag (ex: 2.7.1). In other words, newer tags are not part on the develop branch. You can check the commit part (ex: "g6f14becb08") against the latest commit [1] and see the built package is indeed the latest commit.

This package should conflict with keepassxc.

Fixed.

I second that! Otherwise, either you or me could make a second package, but I think that would only add to the already confusing number of keepassx* stuff in the AUR... Flagging as 'out of date' for now to attract attention to the issue...

@dlandau could you add the cmake options to the pkgbuild? I think it should be enabled by default...

Thanks! That's it :-)

It looks like a change was implemented in the source that disables http support by default at build-time. It can be re-enabled (along with support for autotype and yubikey, which also start out auto-disabled) by editing cmake.txt at compile time. Maybe the PKGBUILD could be modified to make that change by default? OK, so looking at the wiki, it seems that the PKGBUILD simply needs to contain the following build flags in the 'cmake' command: -DWITH_XC_AUTOTYPE=ON for Autotype -DWITH_XC_HTTP=ON for KeePassHTTP -DWITH_XC_YUBIKEY=ON for Yubikey This can be done by the user at build time.

Hey, in this git version the options concerning the http plugin in settings are not available anymore. Further more the http plugin is not working. Is that related to the package or to the source?

And here we are :) For people just joining, the comments below were migrated from the keepassx-http package.

Seems like they already have a package on the AUR https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/keepassx-reboot-git/

Looks like it's getting moved to https://github.com/keepassxreboot/keepassx
