This PKGBUILD works with the current latest version - 4.17.2

  • Download & unpack the snapshot - change PKGBUILD version to above ^^^
updpkgsums && makepkg --printsrcinfo > .SRCINFO
makepkg -sf

Currently broken. Please use the following download URL for the PKGBUILD: https://static.keet.io/downloads/2.5.2/Keet-x64.tar.gz

There is a typo (keety.io) in the source url it must be static.keet.io instead

AndreiRegiani commented on 2025-10-13 21:07 (UTC)

the AppImage is standalone, it does bootstrap the Pear runtime by itself.

https://static.keet.io/downloads/2.5.2/Keet-x64.tar.gz

2.5.2 is the latest; update it.

AndreiRegiani commented on 2025-10-07 21:40 (UTC)

Currently broken (curl URL changed), needs to update the URL to: https://static.keet.io/downloads/2.5.2/Keet-x64.tar.gz (AppImage inside)

alternatively: Binary-only: https://static.keet.io/downloads/2.5.2/Keet-x64-binary.tar.gz

Current error:

curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 ==> ERROR: Failure while downloading https://keet.io/downloads/2.5.2/Keet-x64.tar.gz Aborting...

Package does not work by itself without having pear installed.

Is there any way to add pear as a dependency? If not, for whoever installs it first install https://github.com/holepunchto/pear

@alerque I only get this when trying to run the new keet:

This doesn't look like a squashfs image.

Cannot mount AppImage, please check your FUSE setup.
You might still be able to extract the contents of this AppImage
if you run it with the --appimage-extract option.
See https://github.com/AppImage/AppImageKit/wiki/FUSE
for more information
