This should have an optdepends 'xdotool: for Auto-type feature'.

Sorry guys, i tested the package update on a non-clean environment; until upstream provides a fix, i included the icon.

daenney commented on 2017-12-04 23:06

The reason the 1.6.x builds fail is because icon.png is no longer available in the release zip but only inside the asar archive. I've filed a request with the maintainer to change that:

The other option is to depend on Node during the building, install the asar module and extract the file from there.

Building 1.6.1-1 seems to fail:

:: Building keeweb-desktop package(s)... ==> Making package: keeweb-desktop 1.6.1-1 (Mon 4 Dec 16:38:08 CET 2017) ==> Checking runtime dependencies... ==> Checking buildtime dependencies... ==> WARNING: Using existing $srcdir/ tree ==> Entering fakeroot environment... ==> Starting package()... install: cannot stat '/home/tg/.cache/pacaur/keeweb-desktop/pkg/keeweb-desktop/opt/keeweb-desktop/resources/app/icon.png': No such file or directory ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package(). $ ldd /opt/keeweb-desktop/KeeWeb | grep gtk => /usr/lib/ (0x00007fa9dce23000)
$ pacman -Qo /usr/lib/
/usr/lib/ is owned by gtk2 2.24.31-1

I think there's also a dependency to gtk2 in order to run the application.

Concerning the merge, please note the idea has been accepted, but the discussion to get only the webapp from the keeweb package is still ongoing:
When fixed, the merge could happen.
