Adopted so I can update it and create a kerbalspaceprogram-unionfs version too.

Does anybody want to adopt this package? I never used it and don't play the game much anymore. I think it just won't really work in a nice way for this game; it's much easier to just unzip it and play it.

Copy Over the latest (0.25.0) zip and save as ksp-linux-0-25-0.zip
Use this PKGBUILD http://pastebin.com/5UQrsutJ
Then should build fine

I use union-fuse for putting various games (e.g. from GOG) in /opt.
If the owner wants to disown this so I could adopt it, I'll set up something similar for this.

Why don't you try something like unionfs-fuse. That allows a directory in the user's home to overlay another directory (the game install directory, for instance). Similar things have been done with Jazz Jackrabbit and The Incredible Machine. These are DOSBox games the are meant to run out of single directory.

you should see this PKGBUILD more like a proof of concept, the game isn't really designed to be installed in a multi-user way..
