Could you also add sed -i 's/"${usr_passwd}"/${usr_passwd}/g' ${pkgdir}/usr/bin/*.sh sed -i 's/"${own_passwd}"/${own_passwd}/g' ${pkgdir}/usr/bin/*.sh ? Otherwise I could not convert files which have a password. The password seems to be transferred as "password" which pdftotext cannot recognize.

Thanks, I just checked the new files. You also have to remove the string after the --caption, e.g. "${msg_options_title}" . Then it works. Maybe you could tell sed to remove the next word/string after --caption and then remove --caption.

Hi @DonHugo, thanks I implemented your recommendation about caption, but I think it required more adjusts, It seems to work but not completly, the author write this for kde4 and this required some updates for plasma 5...

A small addition: In order to convert password protected files, the commands pdftotext "${own_passwd}" and pdftotext "${usr_passwd}" need to have their "" removed, e.g. pdftotext ${own_passwd}

I got the error "Unknown Option 'caption'." when I tried to convert a PDF to text. It seems that due to the latest updates the kde-options "--caption" does not work anymore and needs to be removed. I tested this with the PDFtoText file "pdftotext_kmenu.sh" and it worked again. This probably affects more options.
