It seems to work fine, your configuration hints in khal.install are out-of-date though.

milouse commented on 2015-05-04 09:11

Could any of you check that all build and run as expected? Thanks

My mistake. I totally forgotten to work on it. I'll push it ASAP. Thank you for your patience.

Please move the sample file out of skel. It's a pain having stuff laying where it shouldn't, and it copies a useless file to every new user's home.

Actually, I've been using the python3 version since the PR to support it appeared. :)

I don't think we have any bugs left, and in any case, this unstable package is the place for them to appear if we do. :D

Nevermind, my mistake.

I wouldn't shoot so fast, I'm still getting a lot of errors when using khal under Python 3.

WhyNotHugo commented on 2015-05-02 13:50

Khal now support python3 properly, so maybe this package should now use that (given that python3 is the default on arch).

I've tailored a PKGBUILD here: https://git.barrera.io/snippets/9

@hobarrera, about skel. I was totally unaware of that behavior. My thoughts were it is a directory where to put example files upon which we could build user's config. I'll fix it quickly.

Yeah, I remove quite often my orphans and usually do a -Rsn. But you know, maintaining package leads you to directly install a lot of packages, without letting them come as a dependancy. I think it's what happened there.

/etc/skel is there files are copied from when creating a new user - so new users will end up with "khal.conf" in the home.

The correct location for khal.conf is /usr/share/doc/$pkgname/examples.

Cheers, thanks for maintaining this.
