You can use the static drumstick library embedded in kmid2’s source code. Just make sure you don’t have drumstick installed and delete drumstick in dependencies. It is the only solution I found to make this software works.

I was able to get the package installed by using makepkg in a local copy followed by manually changing <*.h> to "/usr/include/drumstick" for all *.h provided by drumstick and then using make all as needed.

Does not install - cannot find alsaclient.h. Drumstick is properly installed.
