Just to know, why are you updating the PKGBUILD every time the git updates? Git PKGBUILDs are usually made in a way that the package get the updated version from the git itself, here an example: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/minetest-git/
You can safely set the version to the git commit you make the initial PKGBUILD, next Yaourt or similar will do the work to pick the latest commit and rename the packet to its version.
