I'm pretty sure it doesn't because it can't work the way it is.
I guess whatever you are testing is hitting a cache :)

yeah this is super broken now...

source should be: source=("${pkgname}::git+<https://github.com/peak3d/inputstream.adaptive.git>")
without the < and > of course. The aur comment system adds those for whatever reason

Fixed for kodi-git. The maintainer of kodi-pre-release has to make the changes I explained to him in order to fix the dependency resolution.

Add kodi-git as a makedepend. Only checks for kodi, and kodi-dev.
