This won't build

CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:7 (find_package):
Could not find a package configuration file provided by "ECM" (requested
version 5.20) with any of the following names:

ECMConfig.cmake
ecm-config.cmake

Add the installation prefix of "ECM" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set "ECM_DIR"
to a directory containing one of the above files. If "ECM" provides a
separate development package or SDK, be sure it has been installed.

Please add "bison" and "flex" to makedepends.

The desktop file comes from upstream, not from me.

DaveCode commented on 2013-07-09 05:00

I also noticed all other .desktops in /usr/share/applications/kde4 have +x permission flag set. Looks like it should have that flag too? Double check me...

DaveCode commented on 2013-07-09 04:57

Voted. Change .desktop category from Utility to Development. No one but a programmer would consider it a Utility. It's only a utility for programming so it belongs in Development.

Updated to use git and consequently renamed to kregexpeditor-git

mtorromeo,

It would appear as though kregexpeditor has switched to using git. I have never made a PKGBUILD before, but perhaps if you are willing to continue to maintain it the following would be a start.

Sincerely,
kingjere

provides=('kregexpeditor')
conflicts=('kregexpeditor')
install=$pkgname.install

_gitroot="git://anongit.kde.org/kregexpeditor"
_gitname="kregexpeditor"

build() {
cd "$srcdir"

if [ -d "$_gitname" ] ; then
cd $srcdir/$_gitname && git pull origin
else
git clone $_gitroot && cd $srcdir/$_gitname
fi

cmake \
-DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr \
-DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release \
$srcdir/$_gitname

make
}

package() {

cd "$srcdir/$_gitname"

make DESTDIR="$pkgdir" install

}

URL of source code is invalid.
It seems it has been move. Found it here:

Yup, that fixed it.

During compilation on x86_64 I get the following error:

-- Looking for _POSIX_TIMERS - found
CMake Error at /usr/share/apps/cmake/modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:198 (MESSAGE):
Did not find automoc4 (Automoc4Config.cmake, part of kdesupport).

/usr/share/cmake-2.8/Modules/FindKDE4.cmake:95 (FIND_PACKAGE)

I have both the kdebase-runtime (4.7.0) and kdelibs3 (3.5.10) installed
